Nursing training: A non-audible discipline with variable geometry
Experiences and foreign points of view
By Michel NadotEnglish
How can nursing science be taught if the meaning and history of the evolution of the terms “science” and “nurse” are not looked at? Even with high-level doctoral or even postdoctoral training, it is amazing to see that experienced researchers are still dependent for the understanding of their works, the dominant visions of collective representations, and the weight of the past. The occupation may no longer think only about care or the sick, but it must also consider the conditions of knowledge production within its Hautes Écoles and its use within the health system.
