A reflective approach as a training process has now gained a place in most fields involving the issue of relationships. In the field of healthcare, official texts on training requirements (July 29, 2009) encourage associating a reflective process dealing with the ability “to analyze any healthcare situation.” As part of the “training trainers about professional accompaniment” master’s degree, of which the authors are jointly in charge at the University of Cergy Pontoise, head nurses eager to be trained to this approach receive training. In this context, the authors detail, following their experience, the approach of accompaniment and training in reference to clinical social psychology. They analyze how the training group acquires professional skills along with a reflective capacity and identify the process involved in the professional posture transformation. After presenting the device of reflective analysis of practice, they highlight the symbolic force of the framework and show the effects of an accompaniment using the new position with thanks to a meta-analysis process. At each step of the process, new professional skills identified are put to work, accompanying and accelerating individual and group change processes.
